Transformers Robots In Disguise: Rumble In The Jungle DVD Review And Giveaway

We're long-standing fans of Transformers, and their latest release on Monday 23rd May is the next in the Robots In Disguise series. Rumble In The Jungle contains 6 new episodes from series 1 with a total runtime of just over 2 hours.

We've been sent a copy to review, and the characters and background storyline are obviously familiar, as this is a continuation of the series, the second after Transformers Robots In Disguise: A New Mission which we reviewed earlier. The 6 episodes in Rumble In The Jungle are:

True Colours
Rumble In The Jungle
Can You Dig It?
Advntures in Bumblebee-Sitting
Hunting Season
Out Of Focus

Bumblebee and the Autobots are still trying to round up the escaped Decepticons on Earth, encountering a particularly wild Decepticon, Grimlock, amongst others. Bumblebee is exposed to a nasty poison while he's trying to chase down Quillfire, this makes him a bit wild and his erratic behaviour alerts 2 bounty hunters - who know there is a price on his head and are determined to claim it.

Meanwhile back in the Prime Realm a threat is made not only against Earth, but also Cybertron, and Optimus has to direct the Autobots to make the right moves and save the day once again...

Always good fun to watch, with easy to pick up storylines and distinctive characters (including some formidable females) and some great witty asides.
