Review Visit ~ Brick Or Treat LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Manchester

Brick Or Treat is an annual event at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre at October half term leading to Halloween. Running until November 4th this year, we were given free entry and it was such a good visit that it would be rude not to tell you about it.

Brick Or Treat this year includes a pumpkin patch where you can add your own creation, a ‘Scarevenger’ hunt, spooky stop motion animation, Halloween character meet and greet, scarily themed mini land and until they run out, limited edition pop-badges and factory bricks!

Not only that but each paying adult can take one child who is dressed in Halloween costume with them for free!

No coincidence I think that this is the first time our Factory Tour Guide has ever resembled a distant relative of Morticia Addams...

Miniland was experiencing night time when we arrived and it looked great already with the ghosts dancing on the wall and hints of carnage just about visible.

We've been to Brick Or Treat several times in the past, so thought we knew what to expect. Daylight in Miniland blew us away though - it was epic! The new Master Model Builder James has really poured his love of movies into the Halloween additions...

The Little Shop Of Horrors, Ghostbusters, 28 Days Later. Giant sea creatures, spiders and all sorts. It's brilliant. I think having 2 people who can dedicate time to the exhibits has already paid off in spades.

Even The Woolpack has had a rat problem!

The rest of the centre has taken on a Halloween feel, with decorations, and it is all open as usual. My boys spent an hour in the Ninjago City Adventure soft play climbing frame. First time we've had a LEGO Space photo though! Apparently that's a serious Astronaut face...

And look - there he was. Hard at work on a Saturday, James, the new Master Model Builder. We went over and had a chat and he's another true fan. He is so excited about the potential his job offers, I am really looking forward to visiting at Christmas... And I think we'll be coming back for AFOL night again sometime soon too...

Before you leave, don't miss the chance to get a photo at one of the regular 'meet and greets'. Look at the smiles on their little faces....

If you are visiting and are interested in what SeaLife has to offer next door, we were asked to review and you can find our SeaLife Ascarium review post here...

Brick Or Treat will be on at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Trafford Centre, Manchester until November 4th. This event is included in with the standard admission price. Book online to guarantee entry and save money. Combi tickets with Sea Life are good value and an annual pass is even better. Find out more on the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Events page.

Our entry was free alongside our SeaLife Entry which we were asked to review. I was under no obligation to write this post. James is awesome - nice to meet you!
