You and your daughter are both so beautiful, you take some amazing selfies, I'd hate to think you or she ever saw anything other than the hair, and the gorgeous skin, and the big bright eyes, and the smiles :) xxJenny at The Brick Castlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00090208734161519771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2308635202411289169.post-72111783378927442572016-01-14T20:19:40.001+00:002016-01-14T20:19:40.001+00:00This is so important yet so easily forgotten Jenny...This is so important yet so easily forgotten Jenny. I agree that as adults we are reminded about dieting so much in the media and all around us that it is hard not to pass that on to our children without thinking. I will be making an extra effort to think about how I portray diet and body image around both my children. There are so many things that we deem as unsuitable to say around our children, negative body image needs to becĂ´me one of those. I hope he's reassured he's not 'chunky'! xxJenny at The Brick Castlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00090208734161519771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2308635202411289169.post-66295638269346774812016-01-12T23:30:23.461+00:002016-01-12T23:30:23.461+00:00Brilliant post Jenny. He's bloody five! He doesn't even have chunky legs as you know. He's a keen footballer so I showed him photos of many different footballers with both larger and slimmer thighs and explained that they are all different but they are all excellent footballers and very healthy and happy. I worry that I was the one who put the idea into his head because I was on Slimming World at the time. Now I never mention weight loss or size in front of him, ever.
