Christmas Gifts for the man (or woman) who has everything....

Men can be notoriously hard to buy for at Christmas, and sometimes more new socks, ties and Old Spice just aren't needed, or aren't quite fun enough. Hopefully here I will give you some ideas for a present that'll really put a smile on someone's face.

Gadgets are a brilliant thing to buy for Christmas, and useful gadgets are the best - things that won't sit in the cupboard 362 days of the year. We've been lucky enough to review some fantastic gadgets this year - here are our favourites....

Ventura portable power bank and jump start review

The Ventura P Powerbank from Snooper is brilliant. Absolutely tiny compared to the standard, yet it can charge phones, laptops and other hand held devices, but will also jump start your vehicle, AND it's got a torch. Could it get any better? Yes it can - it's so small it can sit under the passenger seat or in a door pocket until you need it, and only needs a top up charge every 6 months or after use. It comes complete with a zipcase to hold all of the accessories. At £99.99 and with that level of function it's a really useful piece of holiday and emergency equipment.

Smarter Wi-Fi Kettle review

The Smarter Wi-Fi Kettle not only looks gorgeous and has amazing chrome buttons, but you don't even need to use the buttons! It uses a simple app. and links to your home wi-fi network to talk to your kettle using your mobile phone. Yep, you can switch the kettle on while you're in the bath or in bed - and no more standing in the kitchen freezing and waiting early in the morning or late at night. £99.99

Krash Video Head

The Krash VideoHead is something we've yet to review, but novelty value for us is great, and if you really are a skater, mountain biker, rock climber or just want to film your ride home from work or trip in a supermarket trolley, it's less bother than other hands-free video cameras. The camera is built into the helmet and the onboard 2gb flash memory will film around 30 minutes of action. Plenty of time to catch that 'You've Been Framed' moment.... Around £55 - and also available in black

Lifeproof waterproof indestructable Phone case review

Mobile phones are great, broken mobile phones far less great. The LifeProof Phone Case really has proven to be a brilliant thing. I've been using one for the last 18 months and my phone hasn't had so much as a scratch, despite being dropped in the bath, knocked out of my hand and across the room several times, dropped down the stairs and generally mistreated by my younger children. Waterproof, shockproof, dustproof, snowproof and mudproof. At £40-£50 it's substantially cheaper than a new phone, and it still looks good.

Nomad Chargekey and chargecard review

Nomad Chargekey and Chargecard are the smallest USB cables you'll find. Always handy right when you need them and perfect for charging your phone on the train, diverting electricity via someone's laptop or just generally powering any of your USB peripherals without you having to carry 2 feet of cable. Currently around £22.

Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! The LEGO Movie model

LEGO isn't just for children. Be it Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!, Metalbeard's Sea Cow, the VW Splitscreen Camper Van,  or the Ghostbusters ECTO1 - lots of LEGO is actually designed with adults in mind and some is even very little use as a plaything for younger children. LEGO building is relaxing and excellent for exercising the brain, it gives a sense of pride and achievement, and even fires the imagination and creativity in adults...YES, you have justification.

The Dormeo Memory foam topped mattress review

I have to end with A New Mattress. If you have everything you could possibly wish for, what better than a good night's sleep.....

No-one gave me added incentive to include these items. These are my pick from the reviews I've done this year....
