Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games 2 Movie DVD Box Set Review and Giveaway

This Easter there's a brand way to entertain your children for almost 3 hours thanks to the latest Equestria Girls release from Hasbro. A double movie box set, it features both Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games in one money saving bundle and will be available to buy from Monday 21st March.
We've previously reviewed both movies, and my young boys enjoyed them. Equestria Girls is a little more 'grown up' than My Little Pony, with slightly more intricate storylines to interest children of school age.

Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks tells the story of a meteoric rise to temporary fame achieved by the Canterlot High pupils Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer. They enter a Battle Of The Bands competition at school with their new band, The Rainbooms, but soon find they may be about to be cheated out of a fair competition - and on top of that the whole school is put in jeopardy. Will they save it in time?  You can read our full review of Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks here...

In Equestria Girls: Friendship Games the regulars - Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer are taking part in the 4-yearly Friendship Games against Crystal Prep. There's a bit of cheating and stealing involved, and it's up to the Cantrerlot High students to see that justice is done, but first they have to reopen the portal to Equestria and get back their magic. You can read our full review of Equestria Girls: Friendship Games here..

Both of my reviews also have links to where you can find free Equestria Girls Printables for the more crafty or artistic among you...

The Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games movie box set is available to buy from Monday 21st March, Certificate U and has a runtime of around 160 minutes. Available from DVD retailers in store and online priced around £9.99.

Hasbro have very kindly offered a copy of the The Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games movie box set for one of my readers. Entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below. UK entries only please, the giveaway will end at midnight Sunday 3rd April.

Please see the full terms and conditions at the bottom of the Gleam form. For help with Gleam and to see all of my other giveaways, please visit my giveaways page...

  42. I used to love my Cindys. My cousins had a cupboard full and as they were older I used to play with them when I went. One year just before Christmas we visited and I went to the cupboard and they weren't there. They had been sold apparently. Of course I was too young to realise, but Santa had left them at our house on Christmas Day.
