Frollipops are a huge leap away from this time of year's tradition fruit lollipop - the toffee apple! Frollipops are sold in packs of 5 x 15g lollipop, in a choice of either apple or strawberry - snakes or rockets.
They're definitely novel. My boys love lollipops and these are no exception. They were as happy with these as a treat as they have ever been with any lollipop.
The taste is tart yet sweet, with a fairly solid jelly consistency, so they don't take so long to chew and don't stick to your teeth like boiled sweets. There are no artificial colours or flavours, they're gluten and dairy free, and suitable for vegetarians.
Obviously fruit sugars aren't entirely angelic, they'll still rot your teeth and are mainly empty calories, but getting one of your 5-a-day in something you consider to be a super treat is always a winner for me.
Fruit Bowl Frollipops are available in packs of five from Sainsbury's with an rrp of £2.50 per pack.Fruit Bowl also make a wide variety of other fruit-based snacks and treats, we reviewed some and our review is here...
We were sent our Frollipops for review.
My son loves them. They are very unique and unlike the boiled sweet lollipop.
