Oz Naturals Skincare review

Over the past few months time for myself really has gone out of the window. I have just been too busy, too stressed, too sad. I felt like it was a long way down the list and just didn't find the time.

I had realised that my face was getting very dry, and I'd told myself several times that I really needed to return to more regularly using a suitable moisturiser. As I'm now approaching my mid 40's, I can use all the help I can get.

Oz Naturals Skincare Range Review including Hyaluronic Acid

Oz Naturals asked me if I'd like to review their range, and it really was the push I needed to focus on myself for a few minutes each day. They asked me to review the 20% Vitamin C Serum, 5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Super Youth Eye Gel. These are used alongside your regular moisturiser.

Oz Naturals don't test on animals, and use only natural and organic ingredients. They're vegan, parbens free, sulphate, lanolin and gluten free - and I have used them every day for the past 3 weeks.

Oz Naturals Skincare Range Review including Hyaluronic Acid and vitamin C

The 20% Vitamin C Serum contains not only Vitamin C, but also Amino and Hyaluronic Acid. This acts as an anti-oxidant and claims to brighten and protect your skin. A thin, watery gel, which is not very slightly oily, you need only tiny amounts to cover your entire face and decolletage.

The 5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum + Vitamin C hydrates and plumps, so it helps with all the fine lines.  This is a thicker non-oily gel, which is very easy to place where you want it. Again, you need a very tiny amount as it spreads well.

The Super Youth Eye Gel is exactly as you'd expect from an eye gel, with an aim to reduce puffiness, dark circles and wrinkles. This is a thick gel and you need a really tiny amount. One pump of the dispenser gives me twice as much as I could possibly use all around my eyes.

And so, did it work? Still attempting to master the art of the selfie, I did actually manage to look at camera a couple of times....well, nearly....

Bad selfie

The natural lighting is different - I actually took 3 attempts at the 'after' photos in exactly the same spot and time of day, and this was the nearest I could get.
My skin was really quite red before I started using the creams, dry and a little sore on my forehead, and I did have big dark circles under my eyes. These have all improved massively. The imperfection marks on my face are also reduced, and my eyes definitely look less tired.
My skin looks brighter, and I'm a lot happier with it.

For evening out skin tone the Oz Naturals products have worked incredibly well. I am incredibly happy with the look and feel of my skin - and I don't permanently look like I've just walked miles in a blizzard! My fine lines and wrinkles are reduced, but not in an amazing way. For me it's the dark circles, scars and red patches that have really disappeared.

Oz Naturals products are available in the UK from Amazon.

The 20% Vitamin C Serum currently costs £15.95 for 1fl oz/30ml
The 5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum currently costs £29.99 for 1fl oz/30ml
The Super Youth Eye Gel currently costs £32.99 for .5 fl oz/15ml

I was sent the 3 products shown for review.

  1. Love the look of these serums, I'm trialing some similar type of products at the moment with Vit C and hyaluronic acid and they definitely seem to be the right ingredients to help combat our ageing skin! lol

    1. Once you get to my age Donna, you'll be on damage-limitation like me. It'll be too late for me then, my eyelids will be round my knees :p

  3. I have these too, I have been using the serums for about 3 weeks and notice a slight difference with my general skin softness and appearance.
Unfortunately the eye serum was out of stock at the time but may have to try it.
Always nice for us mums to have a little pamper treat xx

  5. I can see a lot of difference in your colouring. I need to start using more creams I think but trying to defy my mindset over age at the moment.
