Stay Safe With Thomas - 10 Book Giveaway for Network Rail

I didn't think I'd be working with Thomas again, our boys have all grown out of him now, but I'm a strong believer that children should learn all kinds of skills from story books without even realising it. Stay Safe With Thomas is a partnership between Network Rail, Mattel and Thomas & Friends, who have created a book which teaches children how they should behave around trains and railway lines.

This is the first time Network Rail has partnered with children's entertainment company Mattel, and the first time Mattel has published a Thomas the Tank Engine book with a rail safety theme.
In the past 5 years, the number of young people taking risks on railway lines has risen by 80%, so safety messages need to reach younger children before they are allowed to play unsupervised and put themselves in danger.

All of our children enjoyed the Thomas The Tank Engine stories and read them over and over. Adding some common sense messages means children will have the information drummed into them far more effectively than listening to a grown up talking about rules...

Stay Safe With Thomas is being distributed to libraries, nurseries and Doctor's offices around the UK and anyone can download it for free from the Network Rail website, but I have 10 copies of the physical book to give away to my readers. These are not available to buy and it makes a great stockingfiller for a child aged around 18 months to 6 years.

Stay Safe With Thomas is based on The Railway Series by The Reverend W Awdry, written by Jane Riordan, illustrated by Robin Davies, designed by Martin Aggett and published by Egmont. Not available to buy, but you can find out more and download a free digital version from the Network Rail website.

Network Rail have also offered 10 copies of Stay Safe With Thomas as a Christmas Present for my readers. Entry to the giveaway is by Gleam form below. No entries are mandatory, but each extra task performed earns you extra entries into the random draw. Your personal information will ONLY be used to administrate this giveaway and not stored or shared.

You can find a link to help with Gleam forms and see my other Christmas Present Giveaways here. Full terms and conditions are at the bottom of the Gleam form. The giveaway is open to UK entrants only and will close at midnight Sunday 2nd December for Christmas delivery.
