My Life According To...

As soon as the gorgeous Tami from Mummy Of Two invited me to take part in this meme I knew it was a challenge worth facing as music is a real passion of mine. I don't pay attention as much as I used to, but we always have music in the house and most of the children can bash out a tune on one instrument or another.


It's really simple - answer a set of questions using song titles from a band or artist. Tami chose Pulp and had some terrific answers, including describing her partner as 'Master Of The Universe'. The only tricky bit is choosing the artist(s)....

Initially I chose The Cure because with a back catalogue of 28 albums there was an awful lot of choice, but it's kind of cheating. It also occurred to me that if I chose The Stone Roses it would be hilarious to have 'I am the resurrection' or 'I want to be adored' for  question 2 or 3, but I'll just leave that one to chuckle to myself about. I also considered umpteen others, but in the end I've settled for Bjork/The Sugarcubes....

    Fabulous - I love it! You are right Pulp did provide me with some great answers, not sure if the OH has read it as he hasn't commented, either that or he doesn't think Master of the Universe is a good enough title for him! Love the answer for your best piece of advice, can't imagine you as an Isobel though :-) Glad you enjoyed taking part!

      Hahahaha... I can't imagine me as an Isobel either, but she doesn't really do songs with potential names in and I didn't fancy being called Hunter! :D

      Seductive Barry is brilliant, but I'm not convinced about Hunter! There was an awful bloke in Gladiators called Hunter!

      Anna - you need educating...check out Bjork video's on You Tube, you'll love them and so will the kids. I have a DVD and my children love it :)

    This looks like fun, I am not so sure my musical tastes will live up to your high standard, but the thought of you other half as venus as a boy made me smile!

      I'm sure your musical tastes will be of an excellent standard - music is very much subjective anyway, so no-one can really judge anyone else for their taste, we can only agree or disagree ;)

      It really doesn't. Once you've decided on your band and have the discography there in front of you, you're away... :D
      I wish I could have read this earlier, I really considered asking you but I wondered if you get annoyed by meme's all the time! :D
