Pumpaloons Review and Giveaway from Drumond park

I've previously mentioned that Drumond Park are my sponsor for Britmums live next weekend, and I have another fabulous giveaway from them today.

Pumpaloons has been around for a couple of years now, and it's a fantastic game for the Summer because you can take it outside and play! It's also really excellent for getting everyone up and moving - but you can be as active (and competitive) or calm as you want, so anyone over 4 can play.

It really is as simple as it looks. Open the box and it takes seconds to fit the pumps to the Pumpaloon characters, and you are ready to play.

You can pump using any way that suits you, hands and feet being the most common, and the first person to blow up their Pumpaloon completely is the winner.

The two Pumpaloon characters, Stripeyloon and Spottyloon, are around 3 feet tall each with a sand-filled section at the bottom for weight and stability so that they stand upright. They're really quick to inflate, even with 4 and 5 year olds playing together. An entire round only takes around 2-3 minutes!

Deflating the Pumpaloons to play again or put away is as simple as removing the pump and gently pressing them down until they're empty of air. The structure of the Pumpaloons is such that they have strengthening plates inside which will nest nicely on top of each other.

Pumpaloons is a great game and loads of fun. It really surprised me how quickly the Pumpaloons inflate, which is especially brilliant for younger children and for keeping momentum going when you have lots of people wanting to play. Spottyloon and Stripeyloon are really quite cute, and my children have taken a real shine to them. I know that other people who have this game have found the same - their children treat the Pumpaloons as soft toys and want to take them to bed and play with them!

If I have one criticism it's that my boys are really quite rough with their Spottyloon and Stripeyloon, and I can forsee an inevitable puncture. I think including a puncture repair kit would be a helpful touch.

Drumond Park have kindly offered a Pumpaloons Game for me to give away to one of my readers. Entry is by rafflecopter and you gain an additional entry for each task you complete. The giveaway will end at midnight on 11th July, when no further entries will be accepted. UK entries only please. Additional terms and conditions are shown on the rafflecopter form.
